Terms of Use

In short: Fylup is free to use. Use it lawfully, only with files you have the right to use, and check your results before relying on them.

1. Acceptance of terms

By using Fylup (fylup.tools), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

2. Service description

Fylup provides free, browser-based tools for converting, resizing, compressing and otherwise handling files. You do not need an account to use them.

3. Your responsibility

When you use Fylup, you are responsible for:

• the files you choose to process
• having the legal right to use those files
• making sure your use complies with the laws that apply to you
• checking output files before you rely on them

4. Prohibited use

You must not use Fylup to:

• break any law
• infringe copyright or anyone else’s rights
• create or distribute malware
• interfere with or disrupt the website
• bypass security measures, or abuse or overload the service

5. File processing

Where a tool says so, your files are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to Fylup servers. This is true of all the tools currently available. How each tool works is described on its page, and future tools may work differently. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Availability

Fylup is provided as it is available. We may add, change or remove tools and features at any time. We cannot guarantee that the website will always be available or free of interruptions.

7. Accuracy and file integrity

We work hard to make Fylup’s tools process files correctly. Conversions can still differ from what you expect, though. For example, some formats lose quality or features such as transparency or metadata. Always check your results, and keep a copy of your original files.

8. No warranty

Fylup is a free service provided “as is”. We do not promise that it will meet your needs, be error-free or produce a particular result.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Fylup is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the website or its tools, including lost or damaged files. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.

10. Intellectual property

The Fylup name and branding, and the website’s original design, code and content, belong to their respective rights holders. You may not copy or reuse them in a way that suggests your work is Fylup or endorsed by it.

Your files stay yours. Using Fylup does not give us any rights to the files you process.

11. Third-party services

Some future features may rely on third-party services. If so, those services’ own terms may also apply, and we will make this clear where relevant.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms over time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using Fylup after a change, the updated terms apply.
